Sotheby’s combines prime artwork and streetwear with new clothes line

Venerable Sotheby’s is entering streetwear.

The public sale area has partnered with hipster logo Highsnobiety — a weblog that makes a speciality of footwear and skater tradition — to create a line of shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies for Sotheby’s auctions of previous masters’ works. The equipment will come with pictures corresponding to Dutch painter Matthias Withoos’ nonetheless lifetime of a wooded area flooring. In 2018, Sotheby’s partnered with type clothier Victoria Beckham for any other artwork sale.
